Series of drawings, observed from my computer screen, dealing with the concept of imitation/ mimesis in order to gain a deeper understanding of film and pictures -- as I, myself use a pen as a tool. The drawings depict movie scenes and their remakes, wherein they synchronise, becoming almost identical, creating a phantasmic, third image.

Memory Interiors,

This series of drawings are done from memory. I am using permanent marker directly on the plastic sheet surface, so as to record the process of remembering (as in the digital drawings of the video above). "Mistakes" cannot be erased, merely drawn over. Traces of the different version of how I remember furniture and structures are apparent.
